Of Aldington Park, Kent; p 564 1886 Editon: knight bannertet for his bravery at the seige of Therouenne; one of the commanders of the forces under the Duke of Suffolk in the expediton to France; a gentleman of the bedchamber at the christening of Prince Edward; on 3 Nov 1538 he was imprisoned in the Tower and 3 Jan indicted for devising to maintain, promote and advance one Reginald Pole, late dean of Exeter, enemy to the King beyond the sea, and to deprive the king, was attainted and beheaded on Tower Hill 9th of same month 1538/9. 3 sons 4 daughters.
